THE
BEATLES
The
arrival on the scene of the four boys from Liverpool transforms music into a
phenomenon of custom. In the early ‘60s the
Beatles excite a wave of collective hysteria: at every concert girls
and boys scream and faint with enthusiasm.
After a ‘mystic’ parenthesis, with a long journey in India, they
separate in 1970.
The record Sgt.Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) represents a
turning point in pop music and the manifesto of acid rock.
