Revolt in the prison of San Vittore. The prisoners take over the prison from the early afternoon until late evening. In spite of the peaceful ending, 15 prisoners, believed heads of the revolt, are transferred during the night.

Pietro Cavallero, Sante Notarnicola and Adriano Rovoletto condemned to life imprisonment. 12 years to the very young Lopez. The three life convicts leave the hall singing the anarchist hymn "Sons of the workshop". The court reached its decision in six hours.

A general strike is declared for the 11th in Rome. It is the first time since the '40s that CGIL, CISL and UIL declare a joint strike in the capital. Agreement signed in the Italsider factory of Bagnoli.
